The brother of fellow footballer Simone Inzaghi, Inzaghi got his start playing for hometown club Piacenza Calcio as a teenager in 1991, but made only two appearances before being loaned to Serie C1 side Leffe, with whom he scored an impressive 13 goals in 21 matches. In 1993, Inzaghi moved to Serie B club Verona and scored 13 goals in 36 appearances. Upon his return to Piacenza, he scored 15 times in 37 games and proved himself as an exciting young prospect. Milan. Despite a solid tally of 58 goals in 122 games for the Bianconeri, Inzaghi was soon benched in favor of David Trézéguet, and he was bought by Milan for the 2001-02 campaign by Fatih Terim, but suffered a knee injury and missed the first half of the season. Felipe Melo de Carvalho (born 26 June 1983 in Volta Redonda) is a Brazilian footballer, who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Juventus. Club career .Mallorca, Racing & Almería, Melo moved to Spain, joining Real Mallorca at the end of the 2004–05 season. Afterwards, he joined Racing Santander, where he spent two seasons, before moving on to Almería.

After a successful first season at Almería, Melo agreed to transfer to Italian side Fiorentina in a reported €13 million transfer for the 2008–09 season. This was confirmed after Almería's match against Recreativo in La Liga. He made his debut in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against Slavia Prague, and scored his first goal in a viola shirt against Atalanta in the Serie A.

On 30 June, 2009, following a lauded performance at the Confederations Cup, Melo signed a new 5-year contract with Fiorentina, with a release clause of €25M. At this point, Arsenal was reportedly in negotiations to sign the player. Within days, however, Melo was the subject of a bid from Juventus F.C.[5]. The two clubs eventually agreed a fee of €20.5 million with Juventus' Marco Marchionni joining Fiorentina on 15 July 2009. Later Cristiano Zanetti tagged for €2million also joined Fiorentina.
