Riccardo Montolivo Young Guns Italian Footballer Plays

Riccardo Montolivo Young Guns Italian Footballer Plays
Riccardo Montolivo (born 18 January 1985 in Caravaggio, Province of Bergamo) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A club Fiorentina and the Italian national team. He was appointed club captain during the 2009–10 season despite his relatively young age. Montolivo is a prototypical "regista" (deep-lying playmaker), similar to Andrea Pirlo. Though he prefers to play in the middle, he can play anywhere including defensive midfield but is most comfortable in a more attacking role.

On 10 October 2006, Montolivo scored the winning goal when Italy beat Spain 2–1 and qualified for 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. On 17 October 2007, Montolivo debuted for the Azzurri in a 2–0 friendly win against South Africa. He was also called up for Italy's provisional squad before the Euro 2008 tournament. However Coach Roberto Donadoni would eventually omit him from the final list of 23.

Montolivo was summoned by Pierluigi Casiraghi to participate in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, scoring one goal in the tournament. After playing a bit-part role at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, he started all 3 games at the 2010 FIFA World Cup partnering Daniele De Rossi as a replacement for the injured Andrea Pirlo.

Carvalho Amauri Football Player Ready to Launch His Debut With Italy

Carvalho Amauri Football Player Ready to Launch His Debut With Italy
Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (born 3 June 1980), better known as Amauri, is a football player with dual Brazilian and Italian citizenship who plays as a striker for Serie A club Juventus. Carvalho Amauri ready to launch his debut with Italy after Cesare Pradelli mencatumkan name in the list of players who will be performing at the friendly against Ivory Coast. This cash is given full support from some friends Juventus striker.

Amauri was born in Brazil and obtained Italian citizenship in April 2010, and received his first international call-up for Italy later on August. Amauri, who has not appeared at international level for the Brazilian team, will be eligible in the future to play for the Italian national team because he has lived and played in Italy for over five years, and is eligible to acquire Italian nationality by marriage.

Following his impressive performances when at Palermo, he was suggested to be a potential call-up of the then Azzurri coach Roberto Donadoni, who stated he might be interested in calling him to the Italian squad. On 31 January 2009, Brazilian coach Dunga selected Amauri as a replacement for the injured Luís Fabiano in an international friendly against Italy. However, a few hours later, in the aftermath of a Juventus league game on the same day, Juventus chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli stated the club's intention not to allow the player to respond to the call-up.

On November 2009, Amauri himself confirmed his decision to play for Italy instead of Brazil, following remarks by Italian striker Giampaolo Pazzini who was critical about the possibility of having a non-Italian born player within the azzurri squad.

After receiving Italian citizenship in April 2010, Amauri finally became eligible to play for the Azzurri. Italy was scheduled to play two World Cup warm-up friendlies in June, who would feature players from a 30-men preliminary squad to be announced on 11 May, thus making Amauri unable to be featured in any of such friendly games without receiving a call-up to join such preliminary squad. Marcello Lippi, the Italy coach, said Amauri would be followed like all the other players and no certainly inclusion.
